URGENT Change to your DIALUP to ISONE!!!

ISONE is changing the PRIMARY dialup phone numbers effective 3/15/1999. The new numbers are available for use IMMEDIATELY!

As an added advantage, ISONE is also announcing NATIONWIDE access with no extra charge!!

If you currently dial into ISONE using 423-8600, you MUST change the dialin settings as shown in this document. If you use 424-6675 (Win 3.1, some unusual modem customers and some Macintosh customers), you need not change your settings.

Any users with a STATIC IP setting must contact us for instructions for changing their dialin to the new numbers…..

To check and change to the new numbers

Two changes must be made to your Dial Up Networking setting to accomplish the changes required. The dialup phone number and username fields must be changed. The following is a Win95/98 example of changing these fields.

Open "My Computer", open "Dial-Up Networking", Single-click the ISONE icon and RIGHT-click it, then select ‘Properties’. The following screen or a screen similar, depending on your version of Windows, will appear:

Select the phone number for your new dial-in number closest to you from the following

numbers. You may also go to our web site at www.isone.com/zipnumbers.html to select numbers

locally or for your travels. Select a number from the web site above, or the following NH

number closest to your location (The actual NH list is 47 cities!):

Enter it into the Telephone Number box as shown above, click OK

With ‘Dial Up Networking’ still open, Double-click the ISONE icon. The following screen will appear:

Your Dial-in username must change from ‘username’ to ‘username@isone.com’. If using

Windows NT/95 or 98, this is the username shown in the DialUp Networking window as

show above. When you successfully connect, the new username field will be

remembered for your next logins.

Do NOT change the values of any other username fields, such as email, pop, etc. The username used there does NOT allow the ‘@isone.com’ suffixed onto it.

We hope you enjoy these new lines. As mentioned, you may now use your account from most everywhere in the country. Our website will allow you to view numbers by state or by Area Code and Exchange. The list is growing daily.

Remember, to use the new numbers, you MUST change the username for dialin to username@isone.com.

The old 423-8600 number will be disconnected by 3/15/1999.
