Internet Services of New England (ISONE) is a provider of Internet access
services. Using PPP or shell accounts, a user can access the internet,
retrieve and or read electronic mail and news and much more!! We also do
list services (mailing lists) and maintain web pages, both personal
(free!) or commercial.

Nationwide dialing is now available with all dialup accounts.

ISONE Supports v.90/K56Flex/X2 (56K) modems, soon supporting v.92


PPP accounts                                                                               
These  accounts allow you to  be directly connected to the INTERNET!  You may use 
the new internet browsers, namely  Mosaic, NetScape, FTP, Telnet, etc, with these
accounts.  EMAIL address is  provided for all PPP and SLIP accounts. Fulltime use 
accounts are set up with their  own permanent  IP  (Network address) as well as a 
private dial-in access phone number.

'Shell' Accounts:
 
This account allows you to have an internet email address.  You can send and 
recieve email.  You would attach to our site with a terminal emulation package
to access our services.  Internet news is also available for reading and posting 
from this account.

UUCP Accounts:                                    
                                                  
This account will allow you to recieve news and mail to your local machine on a 
periodic basis.  Newsgroups you select will be sent  to your site.  Mail can be 
sent directly to your site too.  MSDOS, Windows and  Macintosh have readers for 
news and mail that can be used with this account.  This  is the perfect account 
for the small business interested primarily in EMAIL
